This ZUCATI PurpleSharep base is made from a solid block of purpleheart and weighs nearly 7lbs. It has solid Zebra wood accents and ceramic sharpening rod holders with leather inserts and grippy rubber screw-on feet.

The ZUCATI PurpleSharp base is sanded super smooth and finished with a natural and non-toxic medium cure wax and oil type finish that makes it wonderful to touch and display and use in your space.

The PurpleSharp base is machined and finished to hold a Spyderco Galley V sharpening system for use in your shop or kitchen as a countertop sharpener with no clamps or other hardware required.

The completed and ready to use assembled set comes with the Spyderco Galley V sharpening system installed and ready to unbox, and use.

The Spyderco Galley V sharpening system features a multi-position ceramic rod holder for sharpening and two 12" rods held at a 20 degree angle for a razor sharp edge. (Show in the last picture for reference, it comes installed as picutred in all other pictures, or you purchase seperately if you choose a base only option).
