I love them. Can’t wait to try them out.

The dice’s numbers have deep grooves that fill in with crayon very well, making for a bold statement on your table. Please note the d4 uses the “top of the pyramid” convention for the number rolled, rather than the Moldvay Basic “bottom of dice” convention of having the number rolled being touching your tabletop. The dice are also substantially larger than the 1981 boxed set dice, so their faces are much easier to read. They are actually incredibly similar to the dice that were packaged in some of the GAMMA WORLD boxed sets, so they feel nostalgically “familiar” in the sci-fi hand.


My dice arrived pretty quickly, and I love the retro look and feel. Unlike the original "retro" dice though, the material doesn't feel like it's going to wear down and smooth out. So these dice should last quite a while! I was pleased enough to place a second follow up order for items that were added to the shop since I placed my first order. That order was placed two days ago and I received a notice that it has just shipped.

Super cool dice! I saw them at a convention and had to have them. Very nice!
